Dress up and stroll over to the Prater. On the weekend of September 18 and 19, 2026, after an 18-year hiatus, one of the most important tennis events is returning to Vienna: the legendary Davis Cup!
While world-class tennis is played on the clay court, you can soak up the sun in the stands and treat yourself to a white spritzer. This event is 50% world-class sports and 50% great vibes. Secure your seats starting at 30 € per person.
Open-Air Highlight: Live your best life at the Davis Cup pop-up stadium

The anticipation for this event is huge! A massive pop-up stadium awaits you on the grounds of the Vienna Athletiksport Club (WAC). It’s being built exclusively for this weekend and is the place to be in Vienna!
That weekend will feature the international match between Austria and Belgium . If your tennis knowledge is a little rusty—or if you never had any to begin with—here’s a quick refresher.
How should you behave at the top matches? And what should you wear? More “tenniscore” or just regular clothes…

About the dress code: Dress however you like! There’s no dress code. But why not go all out! On this page, you’ll find a quick guide to the tennis-chic look. You can also find tennis fashion ideas on Pinterest!
Regarding behavior in the stadium: The most important rule is this: As soon as the players serve and the ball is in play, silence must be observed. Clapping and cheering are allowed once the point is over. And as long as the ball is in play, walking around in the stands is frowned upon. You’re allowed to head to the bar for snacks and drinks during the changeover (every two games).
So dress up, or alternatively: rock a fan outfit in red-white-red!
