The time has come: these days, the top tennis stars are meeting for the big world-class event. The Erste Bank Open, which has been held in Vienna since 1974, will once again thrill fans this fall with top-class tennis and exciting new highlights. In addition to the main matches in the Wiener Stadthalle, you can look forward to special matches and interactive tennis experiences in the Marx Halle – the tournament’s new second venue.

Erste Bank Open – much more than world-class tennis
New this year: While the main matches will be played as usual in the Wiener Stadthalle, the Marx Halle will be part of the Erste Bank Open forthe first time as a new second venue. There, the #glaubandich Court and the #fairplay Court will provide additional highlights and special tournament moments.
In addition to the top matches on the Center Court, the Marx Halle will also host a wheelchair tennis tournament – with Austria’s top player Nico Langmann taking to the racket on the Fairplay Court. For the tennis stars of tomorrow, a youth tournament offers a special opportunity to put their talent to the test in the professional atmosphere of the Erste Bank Open. You can also be there up close when Zverev and Co. warm up before their matches.
Apart from the exciting matches, the Marx Halle offers plenty of entertainment and experiences. You can look forward to an extensive fan zone with numerous exhibitor stands, diverse food highlights and a variety of activities for the whole family – from padel and mini tennis to cool DJ sounds to ensure the best atmosphere.

It all starts on Saturday and Sunday with the qualifying matches. Who will play their way into the main competitionon Monday? The other highlight of the tournament Monday is the annual spark7 Next Gen Day. This part of the Erste Bank Open offers a varied program in the fan zone, especially for young tennis fans – from hands-on stationsto personal meetings with the tennis stars.
The first round matches continue on Tuesday, before Wednesday is dedicated to the ÖTV Day. On this special day, you can expect autograph sessions with the stars, meet & greets and exciting tennis talks.
The last round of 16 matches on Thursday will be followed by the thrilling quarter-finals and semi-finals on October 24 and 25. The grand finale and award ceremony on Sunday, October 26, will be the grand finale .
These top stars will be at the Erste Bank Open Air
Fans can look forward to an exceptionally strong field of participants at the Erste Bank Open 2025. With Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur, Lorenzo Musetti and Karen Khachanov, five top ten players have confirmed their participation. The starting field will be supplemented by other stars such as Tommy Paul, Frances Tiafoe, Flavio Cobolli, Tomas Machac, Andrey Rublev and Daniil Medvedev.
Jannik Sinner, who triumphed in Vienna in 2023, will return to the Stadthalle for the sixth time in October. The tournament is particularly significant for the Italian, as he launched his career at ATP level here in 2019 with a wild card. Today, he is one of the best players in the world and a crowd favorite in Vienna. Tournament Director Herwig Straka confirmed Sinner’s start after a conversation at the US Open and emphasized his close ties to the city. With this line-up, Vienna is ready for a sporting highlight of international stature.
