While many Viennese clubs charge regular admission prices of over 20 euros for their Halloween parties on October 31, the Hotel Zoku Vienna offers a more affordable option. A Halloween party kicks off on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. on the hotel’s rooftop, where you can celebrate above the city’s rooftops for 0 euros admission. The event is open to all Viennese who want to celebrate this spooky fall festival in a relaxed atmosphere.
View of the Prater and DJs on the 7th floor
Instead of partying in windowless club basements, here you’ll have a direct view of the illuminated Ferris wheel in Vienna’s Prater from a height of about 25 meters. Featured DJs will provide the perfect soundtrack. The bar team will serve autumn-themed cocktails and refreshing drinks on-site at regular menu prices.
A highlight of the evening, starting at 6:00 p.m., is the costume contest, where the most creative outfits will be awarded prizes. Admission is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. So you should pre-register online for free. As soon as the rooftop terrace reaches its official capacity limit of around 200 guests, a temporary admission freeze will go into effect at the entrance until 11:00 p.m.
A cozy retreat above the rooftops
Architecturally, the top floor of the building offers about 400 m² of space with a spacious living room area. So the autumn winds won’t bother you at all. The Dutch hotel concept opened its Vienna location in June 2021 with a total of 131 rooms and features open communal spaces, including the Living Kitchen restaurant. But if you do want to get some fresh air, just step out onto the terrace and take in the sea of lights from the Ferris wheel.
