Across the city: boundless freedom in Vienna
The longest mobile zip line in the world – also known as the “Flying Fox XXL” – takes you at a dizzying height directly over the Danube. You can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city, the water and the famous Danube Tower.
The flight starts from a 40-metre-high diving tower across the harbour basin, right in front of the Marina Restaurant. In total, the zip line is around 380 meters long. This is hard to find anywhere else in the middle of a big city and provides an adrenaline rush in a class of its own.
Such “flying foxes” are originally known from the Alpine region, in climbing gardens and high ropes parks, as well as in South American mining. The basic idea: large obstacles, valleys or watercourses are overcome spectacularly and safely via a tensioned steel cable. Vienna has adopted this concept to bring another leisure attraction to the heart of the city.
Free ride and free fall over the Danube
You can experience this boundless freedom over Vienna alone or even as a couple, as the facility has two ropes next to each other, enabling unique tandem flights. Your safety is taken care of: trained staff supervise the experience.
And you can experience even more adrenaline in the middle of Vienna. In addition to the longest mobile waterslide in the world, there is also a “PowerFan” for controlled jumps from a height of 36 meters! This jumping tower was originally developed for training skydivers. It is the longest PowerFan control jump in Austria; there are currently only eleven systems with this drop height in use worldwide.
