Even Emperor Franz Joseph appreciated the hearty cuisine served in these historic halls back in 1901. And Napoleon is also said to have refueled here before heading off to his next battle. As soon as you step inside, you’re immersed in a completely different world: antique objects, musical instruments hanging from the ceilings, and countless autograph cards from world-famous stars adorn the walls.
Among others, Falco was a regular at the Marchfelderhof and always ordered roast duck without even looking at the menu. In his memory, there is still “Falco’s Private Room” today. But other luminaries, such as former Pope John Paul II, the band Tokio Hotel, and Liz Taylor, have also been guests at this unique restaurant.
