What is Candlelight Babies?
So instead of taking yet another stroll through the park, why not plan your next family outing to a place where the little ones can explore through play and the grown-ups can finally catch their breath: Candlelight Babies at Vienna’s Lorely Hall. The concert lasts just 45 minutes and is specially designed for parents with babies and toddlers aged 0 to 3 years.
Research shows that classical music promotes creativity, cognitive growth, and early language and motor skills. So while your little ones listen, crawl, and explore, you can sit back and maybe even get to know other parents.
Seats are assigned on a “first come, first served” basis, and a cozy, cushioned area is provided for cuddling and playing. Just make sure to be a little more punctual: Late entry is only permitted during the breaks between musical pieces. Each standard ticket is valid for one adult and one baby.
The musicians have careers marked by conservatories, orchestras, and international tours, and they know how to adapt their performance to be especially child-friendly and play at a volume suitable for babies.
