Christmas markets
Although Advent doesn’t officially begin until the last day of the month this year, you can still visit the first Christmas markets in the weeks beforehand. Be enchanted by the beautiful illuminations and decorations, enjoy sweet and savory delicacies at rustic stalls, warm up with punch and mulled wine and store for Christmas presents.

Advent singing
Even more Christmas spirit is provided by Advent singing in the town hall. Every Friday to Sunday from November 28, international and Austrian choirs will gather in City Hall to sing Christmas songs from all over the world. The concerts take place in the beautiful Festsaal on the Advent weekends and provide devotional moments in a festive atmosphere. The Festsaal is best reached by taking the U2 underground line to Schottentor station, the entrance is on Lichtenfelsgasse.

FALCO in Concert: 40 years of “Rock Me Amadeus” Live on Screen
The international hit “Rock Me Amadeus” shook the world in 1985. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the legend is returning to the stage – at least virtually. While Falco is brought back to life on the LED screen, numerous special guests will be performing live together with the original band, singing a duet with the Austrian music star.
