Following its huge success in the 12th district, the team is now offering even more space, seasonal creations, and an expanded menu in the 8th district.
Hearty classics and sweet pastries
The menu leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to the famous Wiener schnitzel with potato salad, you can look forward to juicy Viennese goulash, fluffy Kaiserschmarrn, caraway roast, and aromatic onion roast. For those with a sweet tooth, there are, of course, nougat dumplings with berry sauce, classic Sachertorte, or Palatschinken —all guaranteed to be free of eggs and dairy products.
In-house bar for drinks and aperitifs
At this new spot in the 8th district, you’ll find not only great food but also a stylishly decorated bar. Here, you can kick off your evening in a relaxed atmosphere with select cocktails, aperitifs, or regional drinks —and then move right on to a hearty meal.
If you’re driving, it’s best to park in one of the nearby underground parking garages in Josefstadt, as on-site parking is very limited. By public transit, take tram lines 43 or 44 to the Skodagasse stop, from where the restaurant is just a few steps away.
