Normally, the absolute highlight of a good cappuccino is a perfectly crafted latte art heart. But at this cat café in Vienna, you can now enjoy your hot drink with your own face (or that of your pets) printed directly onto the milk foam.
A special coffee foam printer makes it possible and provides a truly fun photo opportunity for the afternoon. If you’re more in the mood for cheesecake, you’ll of course also be served excellent pastries here. But the personalized coffee and the delicious cake aren’t the main reason why a visit to Gumpendorfer Straße is really worth it for you right now.
Waffles, cocktails, and that living-room vibe

Anyone who walks into the café notices right away: the focus here is on coziness and good food. On the menu, you’ll find sweet classics like the apple sauce waffle with cinnamon and fresh whipped cream for 12.90 euros, or savory snacks like the ciabatta with tomato, mozzarella, and pesto for 11.90 euros.
If you prefer a more substantial breakfast, simply order the Oriental Breakfast with hummus and sheep’s cheese. In the evening , the café seamlessly transforms into a relaxed bar.
Then simply swap the Caramel Macchiato (6.50 euros) for a Caramel Martini at 13.90 euros or raise a glass with the signature cocktail “Catwalk.” The atmosphere always remains as relaxed as if you were sitting in the living room of good friends.

A new home for rescued four-legged friends
The absolute stars of the house, however, are the animal residents who keep you company while you eat. The House Café & Bar on Gumpendorfer Straße is, in fact, far more than just a café; it functions as an active animal welfare project.
The dedicated owners have already helped over 500 dogs and cats find a better life in the past. Currently, nine former stray cats from Istanbul live in the café and move about freely among your seats.
If the feline friends ever get tired of the hustle and bustle, they can retreat at any time to their separate quiet area, which is, of course, strictly off-limits to guests. The most important part of the concept: Five of the current cats are still looking for a permanent home and, if the chemistry is right between you, can even be adopted.
