God is a DJ – Faithless already declared that back in 1998. True to this motto, the first Austrian Church Rave took place in Vienna in 2025 . After the first edition sold out completely, the organizer wants to build on that success this year and is throwing the next church party. It’s happening again in early June, and you’ll be dancing through the afternoon and evening in the hallowed halls of the Gustav Adolf Church.
Modern beats behind ancient walls
The Gustav-Adolf Church was built in the mid-19th century in the Historicist style and is a listed building. The high ceilings and stone walls create a very special acoustics that you won’t experience in any club. The architecture serves as a unique backdrop that the party doesn’t disrupt, but rather makes use of. The event takes place with the church’s approval and is designed to respect the space.
The first Church Rave took place on May 2, 2025, and attracted around 500 guests. Dana Melissa, Stratera, Benjamin Di Bora, and plastiktanz spun records and turned the event into an unforgettable experience. This year, too, you can look forward to a one-of-a-kind party unlike anything you’ve ever celebrated before.
Lineup and info on the Church Rave
This year’s Church Rave takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, and starts at 4 p.m. This year, the lineup is even better, with a total of five DJs ready to get you pumped up. Stratera is back again this year, alongside Carl Haze, SAMDMA, Mela Leone, and Aktion. Afterward, the party continues at the after-party at Titanic from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. You’re sure to remember this weekend for a long time to come.
You can expect driving techno and hard dance that will definitely keep you moving. The last few tickets are currently available starting at €49.90, though the number is very limited due to the church’s small capacity. If you don’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind party, you’d better hurry!
