30 breweries in one square
From May 28 to 31, 2026, the Vienna Beer Festival will transform the historic Am Hof square into a massive tasting zone. Around 30 breweries from all over Austria will be represented, bringing over 100 different beers to the capital. Admission to the fully accessible venue is completely free. You really only pay for what’s in your glass and what you taste.
Of course, there’s plenty of food to go with it. At various stands, you can get hearty Austrian delicacies to satisfy your hunger between drinks. From the classic bacon stand to other savory options, there’s everything you need to pair with a cold beer.

Morning drinks and after-work tunes
The so-called Seidl Stage will provide continuous musical entertainment. Starting at 11:30 a.m., the WiesenKaiser will kick things off with a cozy morning pint and traditional brass band music. Another highlight of the afternoons is the daily tapping of beer kegs.
When it’s time for after-work drinks in the evening, various live acts take the stage and turn up the volume a bit. On Thursday, the Marokko Stampeders will get the party started at 6:00 PM. On Friday, Die Stritzis will take over at exactly the same time, while on Saturday evening, the well-known Radio Wien Band will provide the perfect soundtrack for your after-work beer.
