Music lovers will find plenty to enjoy in Vienna and the surrounding area. Numerous music events invite you to listen, dance, and sing week after week. Not only is classical music strongly represented in our capital city, but you can also enjoy other genres such as pop, EDM, techno, and rock. To make the mix perfect, the Vienna Blues Spring festival awaits you again this spring, bringing you many great concerts.
Legendary venue

The Vienna Blues Spring is spread across several stages throughout the city, but the vast majority of concerts are played at the legendary Reigen. This club was founded in 1989 out of the Schönbrunnkeller, where jazz musicians had already been performing in the 1950s. Year after year, you can attend around 150 concerts at this location, most of them during the blues festival. You can also enjoy hot meals here, including a selection of vegan dishes.
However, Vienna Blues Spring is not limited to the Reigen. You can attend individual concerts at the Theater Akzent and the Haus der Musik. Since 2010, the Mozarthaus has also been involved, which was a rather unusual venue for blues concerts at the time. Today, however, it is an integral part of the festival locations.
