Around 100 exhibitors from all over Europe are bringing this music culture directly to Meidling across 1,200 square meters of exhibition space. You can browse through tens of thousands of records and CDs as soon as the doors open at 10:00 a.m. sharp.
The Vienna record store Moses-Records has been organizing this major gathering since 2009. Since then, music lovers have been meeting regularly four times a year in Vienna to trade records. In addition, countless LPs, singles, and DVDs for home record collections change hands at this record swap meet.

If you’re looking for a specific album, you might just find it here, since dealers travel in from countries like Germany, France, the UK, and Hungary. In addition to music , there’s a wide selection of posters, music magazines, and band figurines.
From Personal Treasures to a Professional Record Exchange
In principle, anyone can exhibit at this fair, provided they sign the strict, contractual fair rules. That’s why specialized record stores mingle with private collectors who are downsizing their personal collections. However, the sale of pirated copies is strictly prohibited, so you’ll only find verified original pressings at the booths.
If you want to free up some space on your own shelves, you don’t necessarily have to rent your own booth for the weekend. You can simply drop off the records you no longer need at the store at Lerchenfelderstraße 33. That way, you’ll have more time during the fair weekend to leisurely stroll through the aisles of the VHS Längenfeldgasse.
A whole weekend full of analog music
The next big event will take place on September 19 and 20, 2026, in the 12th district. A one-day ticket for 8 euros grants you access on both days from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. While you’re rummaging through the rarities, an all-day buffet will provide cold drinks and light snacks.
If you arrive extra early, you’ll naturally have the widest selection of highly limited special editions. For example, experience shows that the rarest items are already sold out by early Saturday morning. So it’s definitely worth getting up early for true music nerds, especially since the vendors are happy to share their extensive expertise with you.
